Unite 2015

This page contains details about the first Unite, which took place in May 2015. Check back soon for more details of the next Unite on 3rd to 5th June 2016!

Unite 2015 will take place from 29th to 31st May 2015 at BBUK Headquarters (Felden Lodge).

Unite will be the best Boys’ Brigade camp ever! There will be a semi-structured programme with worship and lots of activities. There will be inflatables, a BIG campfire (with marshmallows and songs of course…), sports competitions, camp talent show, wide games, quizzes, team games, treasure hunts, Camp Come Dine With Me, BB Bake Off, water sports, karaoke, performance café, films, archery and much more!

These activities will be facilitated by groups attending Unite and the Unite village leaders.

Who will be there?

Mark Greenwood

Mark Greenwood is no stranger to The Boys’ Brigade, having been a speaker for four years at Firm Foundations as well as speaking at many Boys’ Brigade events around the country through the years. He is a keen Bradford City fan, he loves coffee (bit of a coffee snob), curry, reading, playing the guitar and visiting the cinema (nowhere near enough). He is married with two daughters and currently lives in Warwickshire. He has the best sideburns in the world.

Mark says, “I cannot wait to be at Unite and am praying for an amazing time. There is something quite unique about going away and engaging with God with a bunch of people. I’m really excited about this new camp and want to encourage as many people as possible to come.”

James Oxford

James Oxford is a worship leader from Bradford. He is no stranger to leading large groups of people in heartfelt worship and has organised various worship events within the city. He recently graduated from Leeds Trinity University and is married. He plays many instruments – guitar, piano, drums to name a few and you could also say he’s bit of a sport fanatic, regularly cycling and enjoying football and tennis. He has been a member of The Boys’ Brigade since he was a little boy in Anchor Boys.

James told us, “Me and the band are extremely excited about leading worship at the first ever Unite. We will be bringing bringing back some for the church classics but putting a modern twist on them as well as the modern favourites such as ‘Cornerstone’ and ‘10,000 Reasons’. We might even throw some new ones in but you’ll have to come to find out which ones!”
