Volunteering at Unite 2025

The Unite Planning Team is extremely grateful to all those who are interested in volunteering, as without volunteers the event would simply not be possible. If you would like to apply to volunteer at Unite 2025 please complete the Volunteer Application Form.

Unite 2025 will take place from Friday 23rd to Monday 26th May at Well End Activity Centre, Well End Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 5PR.

Unless you have a pre-agreed role with a member of the Planning Team, please take some time to read the role profiles of the available positions – these are available in PDF format below. When completing the form you will be asked to select your first choice position and indicate any other positions which you would be interested in. Where applications are successful we will do our best to allocate most people to their first choice.

Role Profiles
Band Member
Comms Assistant
Electrician
Food & Beverage Team
Pastoral Volunteer
Programme Volunteer
Site Support Team
Technical Team
Village Leader

Volunteer places will be allocated on a skills basis whilst also reserving a quota for new volunteers. It is hoped that this will enable a fair opportunity for all and will result in a developed cycle of volunteers every year. Please note that volunteer places will only be confirmed once applicants hear from a member of the Unite Planning Team.

If you have any enquiries about volunteering at Unite, please email unite@boys-brigade.org.uk.

All volunteers aged 18+ need details of a DBS check to be recorded by Unite. If you are a registered BB leader, by completing this form you agree to your details being checked against records held by BB Headquarters. If you are not a registered BB leader and your application is successful, you will be contacted regarding a DBS check being undertaken prior to the event. Any individual without a valid DBS check will be unable to volunteer.

If you are aged between 16 and 18, your Company Captain or other appropriate person (e.g. Chaplain) will be contacted to provide a recommendation. Should your application be successful, the consent of a parent/carer will be required for you to attend Unite.
